Munroe K was formed in 2000 when the board of directors pooled their unrivalled niche asset management and property management experience. Munroe K is now one of the UK’s top specialist shopping centre and retail property management companies. Each of their properties is managed by a dedicated team – led by one of their Directors – from offices in central London. They collect over £144m per annum in rent and service charges, manage over 7.2m square foot of retail space and have over 2,220 tenancies across their portfolio.
One of their premier assets is The Castle Mall Shopping centre in Norwich which has over 80 retail units spread across 5 floors with 371,000 square foot of trading space! The centre is a major attraction for anyone visiting the city and – with over 860 parking spaces and a play area for the kids – it caters for all ages and tastes. Being such a hub of activity public WiFi is a must for any visitor.
What we did...
In the Autumn of 2017, Munroe K approached Inkspotwifi to replace their existing supplier of public WiFi. With the centre being spread out over 5 floors – including a mezzanine food hall – it proved quite a challenge to cover all the public spaces. Using our award winning approach, as well as cutting edge technology and hardware, Inkspotwifi succeeded in providing a secure, fast and efficient WiFi network. The centre are now getting over 2,000 connections a day across the network and receiving invaluable data to get to know their customers better.
